Hogar Construction Ltd — Internal Platform
By accessing or using the Hogar Construction Ltd internal management platform ("the Platform"), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions in their entirety. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use the Platform. These terms apply to all registered users, including employees, subcontractors, and any other individuals granted access by an administrator.
The Platform is provided exclusively for legitimate business purposes on behalf of Hogar Construction Ltd. Use of the Platform is strictly limited to tasks directly related to your employment or engagement with Hogar Construction Ltd, including but not limited to managing insurance claims, policy holder records, building reports, floor plans, and internal communications. Any use of the Platform for personal, commercial, or any non-work-related purposes is strictly prohibited. Misuse may result in immediate revocation of access and may give rise to disciplinary action or legal proceedings.
Access to this Platform is granted on an invitation-only basis by a designated system administrator. You must not share your login credentials with any other person. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. If you suspect unauthorised access to your account, you must notify Hogar Construction Ltd immediately. Sharing your login details or granting unauthorised access to the Platform is a breach of these Terms and may constitute a criminal offence under the Computer Misuse Act 1990.
The Platform contains sensitive personal data relating to policy holders and third parties, including names, addresses, contact details, and insurance information. This data is subject to the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. As an authorised user, you are legally obligated to: • Access and process personal data only to the extent necessary for your specific role and authorised tasks. • Never download, copy, screenshot, export, or share personal data outside of the Platform without explicit written authorisation from a senior administrator. • Never store policy holder data on personal devices, personal cloud storage, or any systems not approved by Hogar Construction Ltd. • Report any suspected data breach, accidental disclosure, or unauthorised access immediately to your line manager and the designated Data Controller at Hogar Construction Ltd. Any breach of these obligations may constitute a violation of UK GDPR, which can result in significant civil penalties (up to £17.5 million or 4% of global annual turnover), criminal prosecution, and personal liability. Hogar Construction Ltd reserves the right to report data breaches to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) and may seek to recover any resulting fines or losses from the individual responsible where negligence or wilful misconduct is established.
All information accessible through this Platform — including but not limited to client records, internal processes, pricing, company strategies, and staff details — is strictly confidential. You must not disclose any such information to any unauthorised person, whether during or after your employment or engagement with Hogar Construction Ltd. This obligation of confidentiality survives the termination of your access to the Platform or your employment / engagement with Hogar Construction Ltd.
The Platform, including its design, layout, source code, features, functionality, branding, workflows, and all associated content, is the exclusive intellectual property of Hogar Construction Ltd and/or its licensors. All rights are reserved. You are strictly prohibited from: • Copying, reproducing, replicating, or distributing any part of the Platform's design, code, or functionality. • Reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to extract the source code of the Platform. • Using the Platform's concept, design structure, or workflow as the basis for any competing product or service. • Claiming ownership of, or misrepresenting the origin of, any aspect of the Platform. Any unauthorised use of the Platform's intellectual property may result in civil claims for damages and/or injunctive relief. Hogar Construction Ltd actively monitors and enforces its intellectual property rights.
Hogar Construction Ltd reserves the right to suspend or permanently revoke your access to the Platform at any time, without prior notice, if you are found to have breached these Terms, your employment or engagement ends, or if it is deemed necessary in the interests of data security or business operations. Upon termination of access, you must immediately cease all use of the Platform and delete any locally cached data.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hogar Construction Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of or inability to use the Platform. The Platform is provided as an internal operational tool and is not warranted to be error-free or uninterrupted. Hogar Construction Ltd is not liable for any data loss resulting from user error, unauthorised access, or circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
Hogar Construction Ltd reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any material changes will be communicated to users via the Platform or email. Continued use of the Platform after notification of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
